Gary Barness is proud to welcome in the new Millenium with the release of a completely new line of Tether Cars, the "American Hot Rod Series". The first four cars depict of the mood after World War II and into the early 1950's. California being the birthplace of the Hot Rod so too is the "American Hot Rod Series". The first four cars in the series will be a '27 Track Roadster, a Highboy Roadster, a Model 'A' Bonneville Coupe, and a '34 Bonneville Coupe.

Unlike the Tether Cars of the early years, this series uses todays modern technology and materials. All aluminum parts are machined from billet or bar stock on CNC machines. The latest technology in motors and gear boxes are being used. The bodies are hand laid fiberglass, and all four bodies fit on the same frame.

The cars will be sold as pre-assembled kits or as finished cars, ready to run. The pre-assembled kit contains a pan (frame), motor, front supension, all tires and wheels, fuel tank, fuel shut off, battery box, on/off switch, pan handle, and a unpainted body of your choice.

Call for information.

These cars are not toys and should be respected for their performance and only operated on authorized tracks. Safety should always be the first consideration when running Tether Cars in private or at public events.
